Mission Statement:
The mission of the Nonnewaug High School library media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.
This mission is accomplished by:

providing intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats

providing instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest in reading, viewing, and using information and ideas

working with other educators to design learning strategies to meet the needs of individual students

LMC Information:
The Nonnewaug High School Library Media Center houses approximately 19,000 volumes and more than 500 audio visual items including video tapes, audio tapes, CD-ROMs, DVDs and digital books. We subscribe to 50 magazines, 3 weekly newspapers and 1 daily newspaper.
Our collections and circulation are fully automated and networked. Students, faculty and staff can search our electronic card catalog from any computer on campus as well as from home via the link on our home
